If you have any interest in traditional architecture, buildings and their interiors (our idea of heaven), this is the talk for you. A unique opportunity to hear Rupert Cunningham, a director at architects, Ben Pentreath, talk about his passion for architecture & the amazing projects he has been involved with (…of which there are many significant, both large and small). Rupert splits his time between London and North Yorkshire and is absolutely passionate about what he does.
English decoration is very much in vogue & Ben Pentreath Ltd. is very much at the fore of this & so it is our absolute pleasure to have Rupert join us.
“ Our architectural practice works at every scale from large new urban developments to individual private houses. Whatever the size, we apply the same principles to all our work: an understanding of scale and proportion, intelligent care and attention to detail, and the creation of buildings that feel timeless and appropriate to place. Above all, we take real pleasure in every stage of the design process.
Our decoration office is small, but is renowned for creating a distinctive and playful style – that draws inspiration in equal measure from the great English practitioners of the 1960’s and 70’s & from historical interiors of every period, but all infused with a fresh modern sensibility. Ben combines a strong use of colour, pattern and classical detail with bold contemporary fabric and furniture: ensuring that the room is just right – both for the client, and for the building.”
