Beningbrough Hall Talk – Reinventing the Country House

David Morgan, General Manager of National Trust York Area Properties joins us for a Talk and Lunch on Wednesday 3 April 2019 from 10.30am

Hear about what goes into running one of the finest Baroque buildings in the country and how the National Trust looks after over 140,000 visitors a year. A glimpse behind the door marked ‘private’ the exciting plans for the future, and a look back at a property that has constantly re-invented itself for over 300 years.

After 12 years living and working in the USA as a five star hotel manager David returned to the UK to work for the National Trust. He managed probably one of the most famous houses on TV, Lyme Park in Cheshire (used as Pemberley in Pride and Prejudice) for seven years before returning to his native Yorkshire to manage Beningbrough, Goddards and Treasurer’s House.

David has a wealth of knowledge to share and we have no doubt this is going to be a wonderfully entertaining event.
